Isabelle Suen
I am a multidisciplinary artist living in upstate New York enamored with traditional art styles and drawn to the themes of fairytales and folklore to inspire most of what I create. My work spans from paper cutting to large scale painting and illustration.
I like to follow my own interests and passions in my art style and take on projects that include my specialties around personal portraits or whimsical imagery and children's illustrations.
Swans, rabbits, and girls are at the center of most of my work and have been a consistent direction for what I gravitate towards creating because of their gentle and feminine forms that are also a big part of my own identity and life. In my different mediums I make pieces that reflects the charms of girlhood and womanhood throughout different phases of my life and give a sense of self and nurturing.
I love to cook things from scratch and develop recipes to share. I spend most of my time taking long walks with my husband and enjoying my days peacefully with him and our cat in our little slice of life by the creek. I created Super Bunny Pop Studio to bring this part of myself to the world around me.
